AUSTIN, Texas - Bobby Jenkins and ABC Home & Commercial Services have pledged to donate a portion of their sales to local Ronald McDonald House Charities this holiday season.
The program, which started Oct. 1, and runs through mid-December, consists of donating a portion of their holiday light sales to their local Ronald McDonald House Charities. For every new holiday light installation, ABC will donate $25 to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas, Ronald McDonal House Charities of San Antonio, and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Corpus Christi, combined.
“We are excited to be able to make a meaningful contribution to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi. Our holiday lights will hopefully light up some lives while keeping families close when getting care for their children,” said Bobby Jenkins, owner of ABC Home & Commercial Services.
"Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas is honored and grateful to partner with ABC Home & Commercial Services to keep families together. The holiday season is a particularly difficult time to be away from home with a hospitalized child,” said Carolyn Schwarz, chief Executive officer of RMHC Central Texas. “ The proceeds from new home lightings this year will be put to immediate use providing families with warm meals, a comfortable bed near their child, and so much more."
ABC’s holiday light installations include a consultation with a designer to plan your perfect holiday lighting system; professional installation of your custom designed, measured, and connected lighting package; and careful removal of all lights and connectors after the holidays, placing them in bins for you to use next year. “Our goal is $25,000 between all three Ronald McDonald House Charities. We hope to reach the goal and are able to help RMHC families be a little more comfortable during this giving season,” says Jenkins.
